Ninefold Distillery is the South of Scotland’s only rum distillery, making rum from scratch in a small converted cattle byre on Dormont Estate. The South of Scotland’s first and only rum distillery, making rum from scratch using sugar cane molasses. The distillery ferments and distils its own rum, before bottling an unaged rum and a spiced rum. Barrel aged rums are also produced here.
The distillery offers guided tours, rum sampling and cocktails with the owner, on a pre-booked arrangement only.
